All Star Block Party #5

Are you ready to party?  How about another All Star Block Party to get things started.  We are so happy that this weeks party occurs during the 4th of July holiday.  As a tribute to this great holiday, we would like to share one of our favorite patriotic projects from some of the previous link parties that we've had.

I decided to show you one of my favorites, the Great American Past Time Cabinet from Jann at Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson.  Not only is the cabinet beautiful but it's decorated with all types of vintage items.  I especially love the Americana bunting at the top.

Every shelf has several things from America's past...roller skates, vinyl record albums (remember those?), sparklers, board games, etc.  This is one of those collections that I enjoy spending time looking at.  Here are a few more pictures of some of the detail of the shelves.  I'll only show you two but you'll have to visit Jann's blog to see more....

Thank you to Jann (and her daughter) for giving us a taste of what made living in America so great.  From a great American past to a promising American future...Happy Independence Day everyone!

Let's get this party started.  And don't forget, your project can be linked up here or at any of the 4 other host's blogs.  Your link will be shown on ALL 5 BLOGS!

  8. Shasta, look at all the cool stuff that was linked up here! How fun! This has been THE busiest summer I have ever had with my kids. This means less blogging and more family time. I miss my blogging friends. Hope you are having a wonderful summer. :D
