Pin-tabulous Tuesday #5 - Window Shutters
It's time again for Pin-tabulous Tuesday! This week I'm concentrating on the different ways to use window shutters to decorate your home.
I have a set of three unfinished wood shutters and I've been trying to figure out what to do with them. What color should I paint them? Should I use them together or separately? Where should I put them?
When I get stuck in a decorating dilemma, I usually turn to Pinterest for ideas and inspiration. So, I gathered up all of my pinned shutter ideas from the past year and created a board on Pinterest that is dedicated to them.
MPORTANT: Please do NOT pin an image from this blog post. The pins (photos) shown on this blog post are NOT my property and should NOT be referenced back to my blog in any way. Please refer to the original source if you would like to pin an image.
Here is a sample of what I found.
Who knew that there could be so many uses for window shutters. Of course, you can always put them on each side of the windows on the outside of your house. Just an idea :)

ReplyDeleteHi there! This blog could really help me out with my business. Wow! This is cool. Thank you so much for sharing this one. You have such an awesome page! I'll be looking forward for your other posts as well. Keep it up! A window shutter is a solid and stable window covering usually consisting of a frame of vertical stiles and horizontal rails (top, centre and bottom). Set within this frame can be louvers (both operable or fixed, horizontal or vertical), solid panels, fabric, glass and most any other item that can be mounted within a frame. Shutters may be employed for a variety of reasons, including controlling the amount of sunlight that enters a room, to provide privacy, security, to protect against weather or unwanted intrusion or damage and to enhance the aesthetics of a building. Depending on the application, and the construction of the window frame, shutters can be mounted to fit within the opening or to overlap the opening. The term window shutter includes both interior shutters, used on the inside of a house or building, and exterior shutters, used on the outside of a structure. On some styles of buildings it is common to have shutters to cover the doors as well as the windows.Palm Beach™ Polysatin Shutters are constructed from UV resistant polysatin compounds and are guaranteed never to warp, fade, chip or peel, regardless of extreme heat or moist conditions. shutters beverly
