So, you've got Mom's gift already, right? Right? You do know that Mother's Day is less than two days away, right? And, trust me, mom wants her gift. Am I right, moms?
Once you have your gift, you have to wrap it. And mom likes pretty presents. So do your best to make it pretty. Right, moms?
Here are a few ideas. The first one is a-ma-zing! It's from Diane at In My Own Style. I love this idea....she shows how to make a gift box from an empty ribbon spool. How cute is this?

I think all of these ideas are fabulous. If you would like to see the details on how to make them, just click on the word "source" below each picture.
I wrapped my mom's present yesterday. It only took 6 min. (I timed it, ha) and cost $0. I used some things that I already had. I'm not saying that I like to hoard gift wrapping and pretty tissue paper but I just happen to have some used wrapping stuff lying around the house. Are you one of those people (like me) that unwraps a pretty present slowly so you don't tear the paper too bad. And then you fold it and store it away "because it's so pretty".
Here is a quick description of what I did to wrap my mom's present with "recycled" gift packaging.
1. I gathered up some used floral wrapping paper and tissue paper (pink and white) that I saved because I thought it was pretty .
2. I decoupaged said wrapping paper onto the lid and bottom of a small round cookie tin that I saved from Christmas 2011.
3. I cut several round shapes of pink tissue paper and folded them twice to make 1/4 "pie" shapes. Then, I cut a smaller circle out of thick paper (I used a BB&B coupon flyer that came in the mail).
4. I glued the tips of the 1/4 "pie" shaped tissue paper to the center of the thick paper circle. I kept adding folded tissue paper to the circle, rotating each round by 45 degrees. Once the glue dried and the tissue paper folds were secure in the middle, I fluffed the edges up to form a flower.
I glued the thick paper base (circle) to the top of the decoupaged tin for decoration.
I used the white tissue paper to line the inside of the tin. I can't show the inside of the tin (with the present in it) because my mom may read this post before Sunday :) I hope she'll like it.
Have a great Mother's Day weekend!!!!
