Just wanted to pop in to say Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mamas out there. I hope everyone is enjoying the day with their moms and/or children.
I've been reading some of the beautifully written words today from blogland and beyond. So loving and meaningful. But this one hits home for me. So to all of my fellow special needs moms out there, this is for you.

Wow, I needed this. Shelley's three year reevaluation IEP meeting is tomorrow morning. I have spent all weekend rewriting a big chunk of the IEP. I think I am having a nervous breakdown! Thanks for posting this.

Oh what a wonderful post! You are a special Mom..and it has nothing to do with the fact you have a special needs child. I think God only gives our special kids to us Moms that can do the best job with them. Happy Mothers day to you!
