Today (during sweet little man's nap), I played with my paint chip fans some more. This time I made a small butterfly chandelier and some bookmarks from paintchips. Both of these will be Christmas presents.
I have a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and I cut out different colored butterflies from the paint chips.
I strung the butterflies on fishing line and hung them from an embroidery hoop. I covered the hoop with white sheer ribbon decorated with flowers. Clear and pearl beads anchor the strands at the bottom. I used some narrow white ribbon at the top to hang it by but will replace it with wider white sheer ribbon when I get some.
Here is the inspiration from Pinterest:
I like the white one much better but I had to make mine for a gift...for a sweet baby girl's nursery. Her mom decorated it in pastel colors with a butterfly and flowers theme.
I also made some bookmarks for the readers in my family. These were super easy and took about a minute to make.
