OK, enough with the drama. My mom got two paint chip fans when she painted her kitchen. When she brought them back to the store, they told her to keep them because they have newer ones. What?! Here's the cool part...she didn't want them so she gave them to me!
So, of course, I've been scouring Pinterest for ideas on how to use them. This is my first paint chip project:
I have this "thing" for color wheels, lol. Weird, I know. And paint chips? I could stare at them all day. With this, I'm in paint chip heaven. Who wouldn't be???
Here was my inspiration from Pinterest:
Cute clock, huh? I thought about making a clock but my husband has a clock addiction and I didn't want to add another clock to his collection. Besides, this is just for me anyway.
Do you have paint chip envy?

ReplyDeleteHave you seen the Christmas tree shapes cut from paint samples? They're so cute! I'm thinkin' I may have to do them with the kids for some ornaments this year. I've seen bunnies for Easter too. So many fun ideas and so little hours in my day.
Hi Shasta, everyone is now talking about Pinterest and I haven't been there yet to see what all the "fuss" is about. Now that I have seen your colour wheel and how excited you are about that site, I must stop by and check it out. Have a wonderful day. Chris
ReplyDeletePaint chip envy for sure! I've wanted to make one of these for a while. It looks great, and I really like the button in the middle.
ReplyDeleteYes, am having paint chip envy! I've never had one of the big color fans, but I do have a drawer full of loose and brochure-type color chips I've accumulated over the years. I just love paint and fabric! You'd think I'd have created more, but I guess I'm more of a collector, unfortunately.
ReplyDeletereally cool! I think a clock would be fabulous! :)
