My Pinterest Challenge (photo display frame))

Today's project is super easy.  It took me all of 5 minutes to make.  I saw this idea on Pinterest here and knew I had to make one.

We have lots of loose photos from relatives and usually prop them up against something or stick them on the front of the fridge.  After a while, it gets overwhelming....loose photos everywhere.

I made my empty frame project for my husband.  He loves his niece's kids but they live in another state so we don't get to see them much.  Their mom takes tons of pictures of them so we get lots of photos of them all the time.  We love that.  But where to put them?

My empty frame is big...24"x24".  I bought it on eBay and have had it for a couple of years.  It was originally intended for artwork but that didn't happen so it's been stored away....waiting for me.  Now it holds loose photos!  I still have lots of space to fill...but it's a start.

I simply tied twine to the backing holders.  I found some mini clothes pins at Wal-Mart and used them to hang the photos from the twine.  So easy!

I think I'm going to paint or decoupage the clothes pins to make them prettier.  I saw these on Pinterest here.  Aren't they cute?

I'll have to wait to paint mine when The Hubs is at work.  He doesn't get the "pretty-ing things up" part.  Men!
